Malathiros is a village of the Municipality of Kissamos, located 21 kilometers from Kissamos and 48 kilometers from Chania. It embraces its visitors with a beautiful interplay of colors in its meadows, dancing to the rhythm of the wind. The natural environment, with running water springs and natural trails, creates a paradise for relaxation and exploration.

As you explore the area, you will encounter Byzantine churches and monuments that testify to Malathiros’ presence since 1301. Every corner is a part of history, offering a captivating time machine that transports the visitor to other eras. Specifically, you can visit the Byzantine Church of Agia Eirini, the temples of Hypandromi and Astratigos, as well as the ruins of the Venetian castle towers. In 1998, Malathiros received the designation of a martyr village from the Greek government. On August 28, 1994, the men of the village were executed en masse by the Nazi occupation forces. There is a monument in the village square commemorating the victims of the execution.

Approximately 5 kilometers from Malathiros Villas, you will find a mini-market and a restaurant, while the nearest beach is about 11 kilometers away. Famous beaches like Paleochora and Falassarna are approximately 32 kilometers away, and the distance to the enchanting Elafonissi is about 35 kilometers.

Payment Policy

• A deposit of 30% of the total booking amount is required at the time of booking. Upon receipt of the deposit, you will receive the final booking confirmation via email, along with confirmation of the deposit amount sent.
• The full payment must be completed no later than 30 days before the arrival date.
• For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, full payment of the reservation is required.
• If the required payment is not received as per the above terms, the accommodation reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the reservation.

Price

• The booking price includes all applicable taxes and fees.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival date: 70% of the total booking amount is refunded. The deposit is non-refundable.
• Cancellation 29 to 15 days before arrival date: 30% of the total booking amount is refunded.
• Cancellation 14 to 1 day before arrival date: No refund is provided.
• No-show: No refund is provided.
• Early departure: No refund is provided.

Behavior & Damages to the Accommodation

• The guest making the booking is responsible for ensuring the proper and respectful behavior of their group, as well as for any loss or damage caused to the accommodation or its contents.
• Guests are required to report any damages and bear the cost of repair or replacement.
• If any damages are found upon departure, guests will be charged accordingly.

In case of non-compliance with the above terms, the owner reserves the right to request the eviction of guests without a refund.
