Pitsidia is located in close proximity to Heraklion International Airport (HER). The distance between the airport and Pitsidia is approximately 65-70 kilometers, and by car, it takes about 1.5 – 2 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. The route to Pitsidia also offers interesting views of the Cretan landscape.

The beaches of Matala, which are nearby, boast crystal-clear waters and sandy shores. Visitors can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, and trying local gastronomic delights in taverns along the beach. Every year, usually in June, the Matala Beach Festival is organized. It is one of Europe’s largest music festivals with free admission, combining fun with relaxation. It provides people of all ages worldwide with the opportunity to escape the daily stress and enjoy a three-day event full of music, dance, and various activities next to the famous beach with caves. The festival uniquely appeals to all age groups, inviting us on a charming journey to share the magic of music, art, and culture while highlighting the ideals of the new generation.

The area is also suitable for hiking and walks, especially for nature lovers and explorers. Near Pitsidia, you can visit traditional villages such as Sivas, Kalogeros, and Kallikratis.

For history and culture enthusiasts, the ancient city of Phaistos is located at a relatively short distance, offering an amazing archaeological experience.

Payment Policy

• A deposit of 30% of the total booking amount is required at the time of booking. Upon receipt of the deposit, you will receive the final booking confirmation via email, along with confirmation of the deposit amount sent.
• The full payment must be completed no later than 30 days before the arrival date.
• For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, full payment of the reservation is required.
• If the required payment is not received as per the above terms, the accommodation reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the reservation.

• The booking price includes all applicable taxes and fees.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival date: 70% of the total booking amount is refunded. The deposit is non-refundable.
• Cancellation 29 to 15 days before arrival date: 30% of the total booking amount is refunded.
• Cancellation 14 to 1 day before arrival date: No refund is provided.
• No-show: No refund is provided.
• Early departure: No refund is provided.

Behavior & Damages to the Accommodation

• The guest making the booking is responsible for ensuring the proper and respectful behavior of their group, as well as for any loss or damage caused to the accommodation or its contents.
• Guests are required to report any damages and bear the cost of repair or replacement.
• If any damages are found upon departure, guests will be charged accordingly.

In case of non-compliance with the above terms, the owner reserves the right to request the eviction of guests without a refund.
